The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and WU169-65 applies that design to liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Its envelope centers on a 16-inch diameter shell, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 117-3/4 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, N/A on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Common applications are hydronic HVAC converters, pool and storage-tower heating, and oil cooling and snow melting.
