WU106-45

Built around a removable U-tube bundle, WU106-45 delivers liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling for demanding service. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Physically, the unit runs a 10-inch shell, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 77 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 82 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Common applications are pool and storage-tower heating, oil cooling and snow melting, and condensate cooling.
