Built around a removable U-tube bundle, 5-266-12-060-003 delivers liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling for demanding service. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. The configuration measures 12 inches across the shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 68-1/2 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 85 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, N/A on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes condensate cooling, oil cooling and snow melting, and hydronic HVAC converters. Optional stainless shells, 90/10 copper-nickel tubes, and cast brass or bronze bonnets suit aggressive or brackish water service.
