CHXS896-4S

Configured for compact liquid cooling in corrosive service, CHXS896-4S carries the fixed-tubesheet bundle construction that defines the CHXS compact range. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Its envelope centers on a 8-inch diameter shell, 96-inch shell length in a 4-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in hydraulic and lube oil cooling, chemical and food process cooling, and deionized and treated water cooling.
