Built around a fixed-tubesheet bundle, CHXS884-2S delivers compact liquid cooling in corrosive service for demanding service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Dimensionally it is a 8-inch shell unit, 84-inch shell length in a 2-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across chemical and food process cooling, mechanical seal cooling, and hydraulic and lube oil cooling. Stainless construction is available throughout the wetted path for aggressive or high-purity fluids; confirm the material schedule against the order.
