Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across deionized and treated water cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and mechanical seal cooling.
