CHXS324-2L

The CHXS compact platform pairs a fixed-tubesheet bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to compact liquid cooling in corrosive service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Physically, the unit runs a 3-inch shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 27-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 7.4 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across mechanical seal cooling, hydraulic and lube oil cooling, and chemical and food process cooling. This build is designated CHXS324-2L.
