CHXS314-4S

Configured for compact liquid cooling in corrosive service, CHXS314-4S carries the fixed-tubesheet bundle construction that defines the CHXS compact range. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. The configuration measures 3 inches across the shell, 14-inch shell length, and roughly 17-1/4 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 4.3 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in mechanical seal cooling, deionized and treated water cooling, and hydraulic and lube oil cooling.
