CHXS314-2S

A fixed-tubesheet bundle gives this configuration the thermal and mechanical margin expected of CHXS compact equipment in compact liquid cooling in corrosive service. It shares the compact CHX envelope while targeting service that would attack a standard cooler. Its envelope centers on a 3-inch diameter shell, 14-inch shell length, and roughly 17-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 4.3 square feet of heat transfer surface on 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. This build is designated CHXS314-2S.
