CHX624-4S

A fixed-tubesheet bundle gives CHX624-4S the thermal and mechanical margin expected of CHX compact equipment in compact liquid cooling. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. The configuration measures 6 inches across the shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 29 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 23 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Installations range across mechanical seal cooling, engine jacket water cooling, and hydraulic and lube oil cooling.
