The CHX compact platform pairs a fixed-tubesheet bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to compact liquid cooling. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. The configuration measures 6 inches across the shell, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 29 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 23 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in mechanical seal cooling, injection molding machine cooling, and engine jacket water cooling. This build is designated CHX624-4L.
