Configured for compact liquid cooling, this configuration carries the fixed-tubesheet bundle construction that defines the CHX compact range. Small-diameter tubes pack maximum surface into a short shell, keeping the mounting footprint tight. Physically, the unit runs a 5-inch shell, 14-inch shell length, and roughly 18-1/2 inches overall in a 1-pass arrangement. That works out to about 9.1 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, brass shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 300 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature.
