this configuration is a GC gas cooler unit built on a removable straight-tube bundle for water-cooled gas cooling. Hot gas passes through the tubes against cooling water in the baffled shell, and the unit shares the removable-bundle construction of the OC series. The configuration measures 3 inches across the shell, 63-inch shell length. It carries 5/8-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper or steel tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 1000°F maximum temperature. Installations range across process gas cooling, compressor discharge gas cooling, and blower and vapor cooling duty.
