TCW-1460

The TCS/TCW tank heater platform pairs a two-pass U-bend bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and this configuration applies that design to in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Physically, the unit runs a 14-inch shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 61-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 146 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. This build is designated TCW-1460.
