TCW-12108

Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, TCW-12108 delivers in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Its envelope centers on a 12-inch diameter shell, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 108-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 191 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Common applications are hot water storage tanks, hydronic-fed storage systems, and domestic water storage heating.
