TCW-1066

Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, TCW-1066 delivers in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Physically, the unit runs a 10-inch shell, 66-inch shell length, and roughly 65-3/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 78.5 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes domestic water storage heating, process tank heating, and hot water storage tanks.
