Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, 5-276-08-054-002 delivers in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Dimensionally it is a 8-inch shell unit, and roughly 52-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 36.5 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes domestic water storage heating, hot water storage tanks, and hydronic-fed storage systems.
