Configured for in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes, 5-276-08-030-002 carries the two-pass U-bend bundle construction that defines the TCS/TCW tank heater range. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Physically, the unit runs a 8-inch shell, and roughly 28-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 19 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across process tank heating, hydronic-fed storage systems, and domestic water storage heating.
