Physically, the unit runs a 6-inch shell, and roughly 63-1/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 24.1 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in hot water storage tanks, process tank heating, and hydronic-fed storage systems.
