The TCS/TCW tank heater platform pairs a two-pass U-bend bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and 5-275-14-042-001 applies that design to in-tank heating with boiler water in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. The configuration measures 14 inches across the shell, 42-inch shell length, and roughly 43-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 102 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
