TCS-818

The TCS/TCW tank heater platform pairs a two-pass U-bend bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and TCS-818 applies that design to in-tank heating with steam in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. The configuration measures 8 inches across the shell, 18-inch shell length, and roughly 16-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 11 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
