this configuration is a TCS/TCW tank heater unit built on a two-pass U-bend bundle for in-tank heating with steam in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Dimensionally it is a 4-inch shell unit, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 83-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 16.3 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as TCS-484. As furnished, materials include cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
