TCS-448

Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, TCS-448 delivers in-tank heating with steam in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Its envelope centers on a 4-inch diameter shell, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 47-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 9.19 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across process tank heating, hot water storage tanks, and boiler feed and condensate tanks.
