TCS-1436

Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, TCS-1436 delivers in-tank heating with steam in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Physically, the unit runs a 14-inch shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 37-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 86 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes boiler feed and condensate tanks, hot water storage tanks, and process tank heating.
