TCS-1260

TCS-1260 is a TCS/TCW tank heater unit built on a two-pass U-bend bundle for in-tank heating with steam in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Physically, the unit runs a 12-inch shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 60-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 104 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across hot water storage tanks, wash-down and sanitation water storage, and process tank heating.
