Configured for in-tank heating with steam in the tubes, this configuration carries the two-pass U-bend bundle construction that defines the TCS/TCW tank heater range. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. The configuration measures 10 inches across the shell, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 107-3/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 131 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets.
