The TCS/TCW tank heater platform pairs a two-pass U-bend bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and 5-271-06-054-002 applies that design to in-tank heating with steam in the tubes. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Its envelope centers on a 6-inch diameter shell, and roughly 51-1/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 19.7 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
