Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, 5-270-12-066-001 delivers in-tank heating with steam in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. Dimensionally it is a 12-inch shell unit, 66-inch shell length, and roughly 66-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 115 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across process tank heating, wash-down and sanitation water storage, and hot water storage tanks.
