Built around a two-pass U-bend bundle, 5-270-04-084-001 delivers in-tank heating with steam in the tubes for demanding service. The bundle mounts through a collar in the tank wall and heats the surrounding fluid by natural convection. The configuration measures 4 inches across the shell, and roughly 83-1/4 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 16.3 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across process tank heating, hot water storage tanks, and boiler feed and condensate tanks.
