Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Its envelope centers on a 26-inch diameter shell, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 142-3/16 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 1021 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. That combination is cataloged as SU269-4. Material selection covers steel bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature.
