SU129-6

The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and SU129-6 applies that design to steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 12-inch shell unit, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 113-1/2 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 156 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across building comfort heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and instantaneous domestic water heating.
