SU127-2

The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and SU127-2 applies that design to steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 12-inch shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 89-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 147 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across radiant panel and snow-melt converters, instantaneous domestic water heating, and building comfort heating.
