SU125-6

The SU/WU platform pairs a removable U-tube bundle with proven shell-side baffling, and SU125-6 applies that design to steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 12 inches across the shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 66-1/2 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 85 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes instantaneous domestic water heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and swimming pool heating.
