SU108-4

Built around a removable U-tube bundle, SU108-4 delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 10-inch shell, 96-inch shell length, and roughly 101 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 110 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes radiant panel and snow-melt converters, instantaneous domestic water heating, and building comfort heating.
