SU103-2

SU103-2 is a SU/WU unit built on a removable U-tube bundle for steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Its envelope centers on a 10-inch diameter shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 41 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 42 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in instantaneous domestic water heating, building comfort heating, and swimming pool heating.
