Built around a removable U-tube bundle, this configuration delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Physically, the unit runs a 18-inch shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 96-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 339 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and N/A maximum temperature. Common applications are instantaneous domestic water heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and swimming pool heating. This build is designated 5-261-18-084-004.
