Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 18 inches across the shell, 60-inch shell length, and roughly 72-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 242 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and N/A maximum temperature.
