Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 12 inches across the shell, 108-inch shell length, and roughly 113-1/2 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 180 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Installations range across radiant panel and snow-melt converters, building comfort heating, and swimming pool heating.
