Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 12-inch shell unit, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 89-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 147 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and N/A maximum temperature. Installations range across swimming pool heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and building comfort heating.
