Built around a removable U-tube bundle, 5-261-12-036-004 delivers steam-to-liquid heating for demanding service. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 12-inch shell unit, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 41-1/2 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 61 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and N/A maximum temperature. Common applications are building comfort heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and swimming pool heating.
