Configured for steam-to-liquid heating, this configuration carries the removable U-tube bundle construction that defines the SU/WU range. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 10-inch shell unit, 24-inch shell length, and roughly 29 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 27 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Common applications are building comfort heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and swimming pool heating. This build is designated 5-261-10-024-004.
