A removable U-tube bundle gives 5-261-06-036-003 the thermal and mechanical margin expected of SU/WU equipment in steam-to-liquid heating. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. The configuration measures 6 inches across the shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 40-1/8 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. That works out to about 9.6 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. As furnished, materials include cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Design ratings run to 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes instantaneous domestic water heating, radiant panel and snow-melt converters, and swimming pool heating.
