Configured for steam-to-liquid heating, 5-260-16-120-002 carries the removable U-tube bundle construction that defines the SU/WU range. Steam condenses in the single-pass shell while the heated fluid travels the tubes. Dimensionally it is a 16-inch shell unit, 120-inch shell length, and roughly 129-5/8 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 363 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in building comfort heating, instantaneous domestic water heating, and swimming pool heating.
