Physically, the unit runs a 4-inch shell, 36-inch shell length, and roughly 41 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 6.8 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel tubesheets. The unit is rated for 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. Common applications are building comfort heating, swimming pool heating, and instantaneous domestic water heating.
