Standard construction uses cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper (double wall) tubes, and naval brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 375°F maximum temperature. The series sees regular use in domestic hot water where codes require double-wall separation, potable water heating, and health care and institutional plumbing.
