A double-wall U-tube bundle gives this configuration the thermal and mechanical margin expected of Diamondback DSU/DWU equipment in steam-to-liquid heating with cross-contamination protection. An atmospheric air gap between the inner and outer tube vents any breach to the outside, giving a visible telltale leak instead of silent mixing. Its envelope centers on a 8-inch diameter shell, 36-inch shell length in a 4-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper (double wall) tubes, and naval brass tubesheets.
