Configured for liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling, WU207-28 carries the removable U-tube bundle construction that defines the SU/WU range. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Physically, the unit runs a 20-inch shell, 84-inch shell length, and roughly 101-1/8 inches overall in a 2-pass arrangement. That works out to about 453 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 125 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes pool and storage-tower heating, oil cooling and snow melting, and condensate cooling.
