Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Dimensionally it is a 14-inch shell unit, 72-inch shell length, and roughly 81-1/8 inches overall in a 6-pass arrangement. It carries 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. The build specifies cast iron or brass bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and steel or brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, N/A on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. This build is designated WU146-68. The series sees regular use in hydronic HVAC converters, condensate cooling, and oil cooling and snow melting.
