Physically, the unit runs a 10-inch shell, 48-inch shell length, and roughly 53 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 53 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. Operating limits are 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature.
