Built around a removable U-tube bundle, 5-266-06-096-002 delivers liquid-to-liquid heating and cooling for demanding service. Pumped boiler water circulates through the baffled shell against the tube-side fluid. Physically, the unit runs a 6-inch shell, 96-inch shell length, and roughly 100-1/8 inches overall in a 4-pass arrangement. That works out to about 36.2 square feet of heat transfer surface on 3/4-inch O.D. tubes. Material selection covers cast iron bonnets, steel shell, copper tubes, and brass tubesheets. On the ratings side, expect 150 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 300°F maximum temperature. Typical duty includes condensate cooling, hydronic HVAC converters, and oil cooling and snow melting. Optional stainless shells, 90/10 copper-nickel tubes, and cast brass or bronze bonnets suit aggressive or brackish water service.
